TL;DR :
I only tutor college level subjects. I will not calculate answers for you and I will not cheat for you. I WILL help you understand and apply concepts you learn in class to become a physics/math pro. I’m based in Logan Square, but will travel to North/Northwest areas of the city. I’m available for in-person sessions or skype sessions (same rate – $30/hr). Minimum of 1 hour per session. I am only available weekday evenings and weekends.

About Me:
My name is Ryan. I’m 28 years old. I’m a current physics PhD candidate at Indiana University, although I reside in Chicago and conduct my thesis research at national labs in the Chicagoland area (see picture of me working at CERN for street cred/proof). Currently my research involves studying neutrinos and artificial intelligence (feel free to ask me more about my research!). I have been a TA for many physics courses at my undergrad, an instructor for physics labs at Indiana University, and have successfully tutored many students privately for 8 years. I understand that physics and math can be intimidating, hard subjects. Contrary to popular belief, scientists do not hole themselves up in a lab to do research, but instead actively collaborate on problems. This is how science and math is learned most effectively. Solving problems alongside peers, TAs, and/or tutors will help you become a physics/math master!

List of subjects I tutor:
Physics I/II/III/IV – Calculus or Algebra based
Mechanics
Kinematics
Optics
Quantum Physics
Thermodynamics
Electricity & Magnetism
Special Relativity
Calculus
Differential Equations
Linear Algebra
Probability & Statistics
… and more!
If you’re unsure about a course, feel free to ask me!

Biz talk:
$30/hr. 1 hour minimum per session. Available weekday evenings or weekends. I tutor only college level courses. Ca$h/Venmo/Paypal/Facebook Cash/Apple Pay accepted. In-person session or through Skype/Google Hangouts/Facetime/Instagram/Snapchat/Twitter/Whatever else people are using these days. I’m based in Logan Square, but I will travel to North/Northwest side of city. In person tutor sessions can be held at a cafe, library, some other public place, or your residence. Your choice. I try to accommodate as much as possible and keep rates as reasonable as possible for lower income college students. Group rates are available upon request.

Feel free to contact me for any questions or inquiries!
